Chris Wallerâs smart mare Elle Lou is the dominant odds-on favourite to win the first of two Black-Type races at Wyong Racecourse this afternoon sitting top of the Mona Lisa Stakes 2016 betting markets.

Due to run as Wyong Race 6 at 3:55pm (AEST), this yearâs $120,000 Listed Winning Appliances Mona Lisa Stakes (1350m) features a final field of 10 fillies and mares.
The top-rated and top-fancied in Mona Lisa Stakes odds at Ladbrokes.com.au paying a short $1.90 for the win from barrier six with Hugh Bowman aboard is Snitzel five-year-old Elle Lou.
She drops in class on the back of a brave third to Pearls when beaten only 1.2 lengths at Randwick in the Group 3 Toy Show Quality (1300m) a fortnight ago.
Elle Lou has won three of her past six starts in Sydney, has winning form at the distance and the weights are pretty even giving her every chance to salute for the punters.
A further three runners are also at single-figures in Mona Lisa Stakes betting, markets following the order of the field with Fitou ($5.50), Frill Seeking ($7) and Typhoon Jolie ($8.50) the dangers.
John OâShea saddles up Street Cry five-year-old Fitou first-up in the Mona Lisa, the mare last seen running under two lengths away sixth to Danish Twist at Scone in the Group 3 Dark Jewel Classic (1400m) in mid-May.
She hasnât won since December last year, but this is her pet distance and she performs well fresh having been unlucky not to win first-up last prep.
Brenton Avdulla comes aboard the Matthew Smith-trained Frill Seeking in place of apprentices that gave the daughter of Sebring weight relief in her winter runs.
She ran third to Elle Lou at Rosehill over 1350m in mid-July beaten only 1.2 lengths before a second to Harlem Lady at the same track over 1500m beaten a length a fortnight later.
Sheâs been freshened-up since, and while the six-year-old is yet to win first-up she has a good place rate when resuming with two seconds and two thirds from five runs.
Peter & Paul Snowden saddle-up Typhoon Jolie, the Shamardal mare drawn mid-field in barrier five for her second run this time in.
A specialist over the distance with an imposing three-from-four record over the 1350m, the five-year-old was last seen running fourth in the mud when three lengths off Knit âNâ Purl on a Heavy (10) over 1200m at Randwick in early August.
She has won a subsequent 1000m trial at Hawkesbury by 2.3 lengths and will appreciate the extra metres this week.
The other major players including the rails-drawn Tears In Heaven ($13) coming off a win over 1400m ag Grafton from mid-July and the Gerald Ryan-trained early market mover La Muse ($15 into $13).
